Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter (1/2 stick)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 medium-size ripe bananas, peeled and rougly chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup yoghurt
- 2 cups white flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp coarse salt or 0.5 tsp table salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven for 350ºF.
- Cream the butter into the sugar.
- Add the bananas and process until thoroughly mashed.
- Add egg and yoghurt until well combined.
- Mix dry ingredients together in a separate bowl, then add slowly to the wet ingredients until flour is moistened.
- Pour batter into 9-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350ºF for 1 hour. Let rest in the pan 10 minutes before turning out and cooling on a rack.
