Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup (1 stick) plus 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  2. 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 Cup(s) granulated sugar
  3. 2 Eggs
  4. 1 tsp vanilla
  5. 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  6. 1 tsp Baking Soda
  7. 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  8. 1/2 tsp salt
  9. 3 cups Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
  10. 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large bowl, beat butter and both sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  4. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
  5. Add oats and chocolate chips; mix well.
  6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
  7. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely.

Store tightly covered.
