Shortbread

Ingredients:
- two cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- one cup of softened unsalted butter
- and ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 300℉
- Grease an 8-inch square baking pan
- Beat the butter for three to five minutes until it’s light and fluffy
- Slowly add the powdered sugar
- Add sifted flour and salt and mix until the dough comes together.
- Transfer the dough to the pan and flatten it using your hands or a metal measuring cup to ensure that it’s spread evenly.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
- Bake for 45 to 60 minutes (or until golden-brown but still a little soft to the touch)
