Ingredients:

  • two cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • one cup of softened unsalted butter
  • and ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300℉
  2. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan
  3. Beat the butter for three to five minutes until it’s light and fluffy
  4. Slowly add the powdered sugar
  5. Add sifted flour and salt and mix until the dough comes together.
  6. Transfer the dough to the pan and flatten it using your hands or a metal measuring cup to ensure that it’s spread evenly.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  8. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes (or until golden-brown but still a little soft to the touch)
